Christmas Letter 2016

Dear friends,

Many times in life a chance meeting or taking a left instead of a right leads to people and places that will change our lives forever.

I met Bruce 37 years ago. We were young insurance agents sharing a small office on Milpas Street. He was brash, opinionated and outspoken. We were polar opposites and I didn’t like him! However, after months of cold calling together for new clients, we became friends. We went fishing together in Baja and even though I’m afraid of heights, he took me flying with him in his little Cessna.

One fall in the early 1980’s Bruce and I took a road trip to the Sierras where we discovered a little town called Twain Harte.  From then on, many wonderful Christmas’ were shared together with our families in a rented cabin…and I even learned to ski!

Many Christmas’ have passed and family dynamics have changed. Children have grown up and moved away and we have lost loved ones. But this year, Brice and I are taking our wives and meeting in Twain Harte once again. Bruce is still that brash, opinionated and outspoken guy but, he’s my Best Friend!

Wishing your Christmas traditions will bring you fond memories.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
